How To Check Invisible Yahoo By Yahoo Messenger?

On the new yahoo messenger; how do you check profiles. seems that the view profile is dark.?

the old messenger would let you click on view profile and then type in name; but new messenger is not allowing me to do that. can i uninstall this new messenger and get old one back. dont like it at all.

1.) Internet Explorer HAS to be running. Messenger NO LONGER automatically opens your browser window, when you click on "View My Profile.". 2.) Some people, in their profiles, opt not for their profile to be viewable. That will result in "View my profile" being "dark" for that Messenger contact. 3.) As for getting the old version back, Im not sure if it's still available.
