How do i view profiles on yahoo messenger when i click on the view the persons profile nothing happens?

http://profiles.yahoo.com/name will give you their profile on the web.

When you click on the name, just right click on it and then it should say view profile

i am having the some problem..if i pull up an IM box, i can go to to actions, then click on contact options, every option in that box works except view profile!... i was recently locked out of yahoo..went to the privacy policy found an address and phone number called the number...waa laa (giving everyone a tip here) listened to the voice mail there and got a number to tech help... that number was changed to but it did list a 1-866- number that i got thru to support and got my acct back up an running but i had to reload messenger and now i cant view a profile from the persons instant messenger box.. so if this is what your talking about im wondering if in the messenger preferences we have something checked or unchecked that is effecting this.... my old comp wouldnt access it either i just got this one and it was working... i hope this helps explain your situation too...since the above answers didnt help!! **************************************… ok ok....i just figured it out...HELLO I HOPE YOU SEE THIS.... Go to internet options, programs, and make sure the box beside "Internet Explorer should check to see if it's the default browser" is checked. See what version of IE the pc is using..I suggest 6.0. **************************************… go to tools....then internet options .....click on programs and then click reset internet options.....it worked for me...
