How do i change my age on my yahoo profile?

ok i tried going on my profile thing and it doesnt let me write way yr i was born only the month and date...and it wont let me go into any chat rooms or anything...does any one know how i can change it? 10 points...

1.you go to "my profile" in the top right hand corner of your screen. 2. then go to "edit my info" 3. edit whatever you want. (your profile name, whether people on yahoo answers can email you or not, whether or not you want your Qs and As shown to people...etc) :) * if you want to change your picture...* stay in the same place and it'll show like 3 options. (avatar picture, picture, or no picture-gray smiley face) then below is the link "change picture" click on it choose a picture you want. hope thats the info you were lookin for :)

Why does it matter? Are you trying to appear as being older or younger? I mean, is it not updating as the years go by? Sounds pretty stupid of yahoo to not allow you to input the year. But then again, this is yahoo we're talking about.
