How do i change my avatar picture?

How do i change my picture to an animated avatar?

  • okay, i don't understand how to change my picture, i want to change it to the "animated avatar" but i don't want to put in a real picture of me, can someone please explain how i can do this? easy points--(: thanks!

    First you need to link your Yahoo account to one in Twitter and use an animated (.gif) profile picture there. Go to your Yahoo Answers profile at http://answers.yahoo.com. Hover the cursor over the My Activity tab, then click Edit My Preferences. Click on 'Update photo or Avatar' and a small window will open. Click Browse - for files, click the image to highlight your choice, then Submit (at the bottom) (Your avatar will not show on Yahoo! Answers if you have set your profile to private.) (Ribbit)
