How do you open your IM thing on your profile?

I guess Im stupid, how do I change my profile to USA??

  • Look I dont even know how I registered this thing under Yahoo Ireland and UK answers, but I dont know how to change it- really Im in America and I want to go straight to U.S. Yahoo answers, I went to my profile but I just dont see where I can change it? Ok I know someones gonna call me a dumba**, well I admit Im not the most computer savvy person, any0ne???

    Just follow these 4 steps: 1. On the main Account Information page, click the "Edit" link on the first yellow bar, (to the right of "Member Information"). 2. Then, under "General Preferences", click the link next to "Preferred Content:". 3. Then, click the arrow on the drop-down menu, & scroll to the top of that list to select "Yahoo! U.S.". 4. Then click the "Finished" button on that screen & again on the next one.
