I have yahoo messenger beta ver..and can't view profiles?

have uninstalled the beta ver..and even installed the reg. version of yahoo msgr..still can't view profiles..also my emotes don't work in the chat rooms unless i type them in

I have the same problem and run windows xp.Everything was working ok untill i updated to the new version.I went back to the 7.5 and as far back as 6.0 and i still have the same problems.I have looked on here for yahoo tech support but can't find an email or a phone number anymore.
