How do I change the picture image on my profile?

Can't change my Twitter profile picture?

  • When I try to change my Twitter profile picture from the standard egg photo i choose the file i want and it doesn't change.. then I try clicking save changes but it doesn't change the picture. It is a JPEG image and it is the right size. Any ideas?

    I had the same problem expect I couldn't find the place where it said.... profile pic. change it. or something It's the whole new twitter thing. it sucks. try the twitter help center .. it's marked under. "I can't change my twitter pic." I hate the new twitter. it totally sucks.

The same thing happened to me! But i went to the help bit and this is what it said .. Alert: Profile image uploading is temporarily unavailable. Our engineers are working to resolve the situation. Follow @Support for updates. (7/20/11) .. so i guess it should be fixed soon :)

I can't change mine either. I have had luck with changing it through the twitter for iphone app and the simply tweet app. But not on the web page. Dumb!

Hopefully Twitter is experiencing tech difficulties. Our company will not follow anyone with a default (egg) photo and relate this picture to spam. So this is good to know that this is occurring therefore we back off until it is fixed. Keep us informed!!!

Me too -.- its so annoying..... my profile picture is like an egg & when i go to my settings i can't change it. Is this because of the new twitter? if so, it sucks.

Im the same its a joke there is no more way to change it in profile settings :(

I can't change my profile picture either, am not getting the picture option in profile. I guess they're working on something here or they screwed up big time. Edit: Tried multiple browsers and no luck. So it is a twitter thing and i thought it was just me.

Probably because the NSA is using profiling imagery to keep tabs on social media sites prying into the privacy of it's population by obtaining personal information from twittering individuals, keeping Realtime tweets from getting to the public through www.google/realtime

I don't have the egg picture. I have a picture of myself, but I can't change it! Idk what's wrong. This is so frustrating.
