How to find out the IP address a person used last on Yahoo Messenger?

A person messaged me on Yahoo twice and I have all the messages in the yahoo archives and I was wondering if I could use those messages to see where they were sent from since the person is not online anymore?

you can email them and see if they respond... if they do you can use that IP addy to trace them
