Answer:
There are two ways to view someone in Yahoo chat either see them in their Nickname/Real name or their ID, this setting can be made in your Preferences under Appearance. Check one of the 2 options down at the bottom. Now having said this People who have it set to see ID's will see your ID in the chat rooms, others who have chosen the nickname/real name will see your n n/r n. Now if you don't want your real name to show up in chat you need to make sure you have the Nickname filled out on your profile and your real name spot left blank. ( I have my nickname in both places) So anyway needless to say that is where you edit your screen name is in your profile. hope this helps
