Restore a person to my Y messenger list after inadvertent deletion.?

I deleted someone and wish to restore them; having trubs,as Y says they are already on my list; they're gone. How might I get them back on?

Answer:
click messenger --> preferences --> ignore list They may have been put there. take them off. Also shoot the user an email quickly explaining the situation and to ask them to delete and add you .
