How do you make an avatar picture for yahoo answers?

  • I see a lot of people with avatar pictures. I was wondering how you make one as your picture. When I joined yahoo answers, i only saw an option to upload a picture directly from your computer. I'm confused! Help!

    Here is the link for you to create your Avatar. http://avatars.yahoo.com// After you have made your Avatar, go to your Answers page. Click on "Edit my Preferences". Click on "Update Photo or Avatar". A box will pop up with any current photos or Avatar you have saved. Then click on "Use Selected Photo (Avatar)" to save the Avatar.

1st one for a pic, second for an avatar. Click on view my profile. Double click on your picture or avatar where it says change your picture.Box opens with options to upload a picture. Upload the picture from your computer, select it and you are done. Go to edit my preferences at the top right of your home page. You will see a grey smiley marked get my avatar now. Click that and you can create your avatar on the page that opens. Make sure your pulse is not set to private as that stops it from appearing,
