CHANGE PROFILE PICTURE HELP!?

okay this is reallly pissing me off, every time i go to change my profile picture i go to edit my preferences add a photo then when i try to upload my photo it says that i cant use the format, but the format is JPEG so why wont it work, i says that yahoo takes JPEG and i checked my photo its a JPEG file? also when you click on your profile in the top left corner and change the picture will it change your profile picture on yahoo also or do you have to change both of them

Yahoo profiles are full of glitches, it took me about 5 trys before it finally took my picture. and once you do make the profile change it takes 1 to 3 days before it appears on Y/A.
