What happened to my avatar on my My Yahoo page?

Staff members, will Yahoo/Answers fix my Profile page and let me use my Avatar again?

  • I understand it is two questions however please help. I have received an email saying my profile page was reported for a violation however it did not specify how it was in violation. I checked my page and made sure it did not in any way violate the TOS. A few days later when I went into my profile page it was blank and said "try again" or "profile deactivated by an administrator". Respectfully I have written to the appeals department and to customer care who replied that they understood I was receiving an error message, they stated that they were aware of this problem and were working to fix it. This issue is still unresolved. On average, how long does it take to get such an issue resolved? Another issue I have is that I have a yahoo avatar and am able to use it anywhere else with the exception of Yahoo/Answers. I can access the avatar page and make my avatar so my question is how can I use it in the answers community until this issue is resolved? Thank you in advance for any help.

    I totally understand your situation. Might I suggest while Y/A takes the Yamster outta there a*s and gets back to fixing things, you just make another account. I am sure you know who reported your profile page out of pure spite and being the creative witchy "pooh" that you are, I'll leave the recommendation of paybacks up to your imagination and hope you give us the details with explicit pictures,.... please! TEHE! The horror,...the horror,... Looks like you have some truly awesome friends here. I am sure they will accept your new account and profile page, after all it's not the points or level that a person is around here that counts, it's the friendships and camaraderie that one gets with all the sh*ts and giggles that one takes to heart. Also,(just in case you attract the attention of Yahoo staffers) why can't I view my past answers in my profile. When I try it says ''no answers yet''. Has Yahoo sacrificed all functionality in the recent cosmetic change around? Is prettier really better than easy to use?
