How do change my old screen name to my real name?

  • i need to know how change my yahoo messager screen name on , its keeps comming up as old name but want same user name , like when writing to some1 , i want change name there like *** smith 4 sample on disply screen , when talking to friends , dont want change email status or make another , can any1 let me know plz i changed my profile name on messager , old name still showing :(

    In the yahoo messenger menu, go to "Messenger" -> My Contact Details and edit your full name and your nickname. Based on their messenger settings, your friends will view your name OR you nickname in their list.
