Why can't I make a call with Yahoo Voice Phone Out messenger?

  • I have been using Yahoo voice for over a year with some trouble, but not like recently. I can't even make calls. I have $12.41 in my account & I can not connect to most calls I make. I contacted Yahoo & they gave me a very lame reply. They Passed The Buck & told me to talk to some foreign company called JIJAH or something like that. I contacted them & they were worse than Yahoo support giving me absolutely no explanation & NO REFUND of my balance! WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON? WHY IS YAHOO TREATING US THIS WAY & WHY ARE THEY MAKING US DEAL WITH THE CRAPPY SUB_CONTRACTOR? It should be Yahoo'ss responsibility to deal with them. I paid Yahoo I signed up for Yahoo Voice & now I have to deal with a 3rd party & NO SERVICE. Can anyone help me make phone calls again? There is nothing technically wrong. It is set up the way it is supposed to be.... it just stopped making phone calls about 2 weeks ago.

    If the credit card is registered through a bank, go through you bank to get your money. Call the bank and tell them you want to talk to the Fraud Dept. After you tell them your story, the bank will automatically refund the amount and go after Yahoo themselves. As long as you're telling the truth, you have nothing to worry about. I've had to go through this routine a number of times over the years and it always worked for me.

in my case, the party that i am calling doesn't ring at all. I hear the ringing sound on my PC headset while staring on my "IDLE" phone that i am calling. I need the service. The only good thing is, every single dime has been refunded on my account. I am thinking twice if i am going to subscribe their "Phone In" service for my business. The best thing to do is to contact their "call center" and ask for refund. This thing should be fixed ASAP.
