When making computer to computer calls with Ym the other person has troubles hearing me.?

I can hear them, but they have troubles hearing me. I get a constant poor connection error message. I know I have a strong dsl signal, so is the problem on thier end? I use mozzilla. Is this a problem with the firewall?

firewall has no connection with yahoo voice chat this kind of problem is common with yahoo voice chat it may cause because of two reasons 1st reason can be caused because of your slow internet connection 2nd reason is using different versions of yahoo mess that is you may be using yahoo mess 9 and your friend might be using using yahoo mess 8
