If I'm in the US and calling a UK landline with Skype, does the person I'm calling have to pay anything?
-
Hi, I'd like to use Skype from the hotel I'm staying at in America (there is free high speed internet in the rooms), my Grandmother who I will call hasn't got a computer so I will be ringing a UK landline, will she have to pay to recieve the call? Or will it just be myself paying 1.5p or similar as it says on the Skype website, plus a 5p connection charge? I hope this isn't too good to be true, thanks for your help. :) Also, can I download the software before I go or will it be a different version over there? Thanks again!

Answer:
if u download voip and pay +/- $10 for 4 months then you can talk to her 24/7 on landlines and she won't pay a penny :)
