Is there a "email" i can use to "chat" with someone using a phone?

I want to know is i could us my email to chat/text someone using their phone... my yahoo account don't work with their provider... i was wondering if their were any other i could try....

If the Yahoo Messenger does not work with their provider...you out of luck...not much you can do about it....however try this site and see if you can get a message to them on their cell phone....its free......... FreeSMS.org
