Why can't I make PC to PC calls with Messenger anymore?

Pc to pc calls not connecting.?

I have downloaded yahoo messenger 8, 9 and the vista.I cant make pc to pc calls it just will not let me connect to any other yahoo user. I have got a handsfree kit however it still wont let me connect. I have got a mobile broadband T-Mobile web and walk tariff. Can you please give me some options to do
