Why can't I make PC to PC calls with Messenger anymore?

Im having problems with yahoo messenger when i make pc to pc calls i can the person can hear me but i cant?

• every sound on the pc is working find it just wen i recive a pc 2 pc call that the person can hear me but i cant hear them can anyone help me ps microphone is working fine and speakers

  There could be two reasons for this; either issue with sound device settings or a firewall blocking the sound. If your computer came with realtek integrated sound hardware you may have to enable multi-streaming in it: Click the Realtek HD Audio Manager icon on the system tray to open the Realtek HD Audio Sound Effect Manager window. OR Click Start on the taskbar, Control Panel, Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices, and Realtek HD Sound Effect Manager. -Choose the Mixer tab. - Click the Multi-streaming settingaudio button. The dialog box opens. - Select the Enable multi-streaming playback check box. for troubleshooting firewalls settings with yahoo you perform following steps and check if it has solved the issue, if it has not revert back the changes ;) 1. Open the Login menu in Messenger. 2. Click on Preferences, then click on the Connection tab. 3. Click on No network detection, then hit the OK button at the bottom. 4. Messenger will ask you if you want to try to log on with your new proxy settings. Click the Yes button. 5. When prompted, enter your ID and password, then hit the Login button. If that doesn't work, follow these steps: 1. Open the Login menu in Messenger. 2. Click on Preferences, then click on the Connection tab. 3. When prompted, enter your ID and password, then hit the Login button. try turnning off windows firewall and check click start> run, type firewall.cpl and press enter your antivirus application like Norton may have a firewall of its own try turnning that also off
