Do You Like The New Windows Live Messenger 2009?

Ok, I'm SICK of it. What's wrong with Windows Live Messenger 2009?

Ever since my girlfriend and I downloaded the new 2009 Windows Live Messenger (or MSN) I haven't been able to view her webcam, and when we do live chat with our headsets, her voice is extremely low and has a mechanical sound. I have to turn my computer volume all the way up to 100 to hear her. Can I download the older version of MSN again and still use it or am I FORCED to use this new, faulty version?
