Yahoo messenger troubleshooting?

I cannot make a voice call in my yahoo messenger. Even the person who i'm chatting with cannot call too, what is wrong with it and what can i do?

Answer:
The other person should also have yahoo ID. Make sure the other one is also using the Yahoo ID. Even then if the problem is not resolved upgrade your messenger.
