  • recently I asked how to copy message history for pc to pc, and was given this directory;;C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\Profiles\your-id\… does not exist on my laptop. Is there another place to look? I am traveling out of the country with my laptop and wish to transfer my message history to my desktop when i return.

    You can do a 'search on computer for Yahoo! Messenger and see where the location is because that is where Yahoo messenger is located I took and looked a little further with this COMPLETE LOCATION - TRY IT C:\Program Files \Yahoo! \Messenger \Profiles \(Yahoo ID)- OR OTHER USER \ARCHIVE \MESSAGES i WOULD BACK THE WHOLE THING UP ONTO A DVD OR TO AN EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE then you can just look in message archives when you get home Here is a website that I found and have been using that will be just perfect for what you want >> Dexrex is the free add-on for archiving IM & SMS text.
