Why cant i log in to skype?

  • I have had skype for a while but 2 days ago i logged in ti see what it was about.It automatically logged in for me.I was chatting away with 3 other people on skype.Then yesterday i tried to log in because it didnt automatically log in and this message now keeps coming up:Your skype name and password werent recognised.please check and try again. so My friend changed my password and username for me.I attempted to log in but the same message appeared.she tried to log in and she was on my skype on a different computer.So i asked my brother to try.he logged onto my computer using his mac book and installed it again he logged on from that computer but when i tried the same message appeared. i have tried reinstalling it clicking on "run as adminastrator" and even making a new account. it is nothing to do with the internet connection because my brother lives in the same house yet was able to log in on his laptop. any help appreciated...

  • Answer:

    delete all your cookiez for safety measures. then try change your password and username. if u still cant login, do a virus full scan.
