Will a phone number show up on a landline bill?

If i make a restricted call from my landline, will that number show up in my bill?

  • I am not aloud to talk to this guy, so i was wondering if i called him from my house phone (landline) by doing *67, will that number still show up on the bill? will my parents see that i had called him from restricted?

  • Answer:

The *67 only blocks your number from showing on his Caller ID. If it's a local number, then it won't show up at all (make sure you call someone else afterward, so that if someone used redial, it wouldn't call the guy back accidentally.). If it's a long distance number, then the number will show up on your phone bill with the time the call was made, and how long the call lasted. If this guy's number is a long distance call, then go to Walmart, or the local mini mart, and pick up a calling card or a prepaid cell phone. Another option is to set up a free email account at Google or Yahoo, then email him that you are going to start using Skype, or Google Voice, and then just call him from your computer. (When your folks aren't around of course...)
