How do I deal with harassing phone calls?

How do you stop unwanted harassing phone calls?

• since 2008 our home has been receiving a lot of unwanted blocked phone calls. some come from an ex friend of my brothers, others from random people. somehow these people got the number from the internet. my brother used to live at our home, and tracked him down to our house. where he used to live. I am wondering what I can do about it. since our number is on the internet, and random calls come in people asking for him, sometimes unlisted calls, 30-40-50 calls a day. sometimes in the middle of the night. I wrote down one of the names of the individuals who called. but it's been more than one person calling, some girls some guys! what could I do?

  You can contact your phone carrier and either A. Tell them about these unwanted calls and request that these "Blocked" numbers be blocked from your phone line. Just because you can't see the number doesn't mean they can't B. Ask to have your number changed. This route ensures that you will not have this problem again. Unless these people hire a P.I. in which case you can file harassment charges.
