Holiday free pc to phone USA only Yahoo Messenger?

  • How can I call the holiday promotion free pc to phone with yahoo messenger promotional offer ? Yahoo has a promotional offer of free calls to the US which is valid from 12/31 to 1/1. The only requirement is to get the latest yahoo mesenger. You don't need to sign up to Yahoo Voice. The instructions is to type in a phone number on top of the messenger contacts and dial but every time I do that it asks me to sign up to Yahoo voice and buy $10. I should not have to sign up for anything to use during this Holiday Promotion. I know this only valid for making calls from USA to USA. HELP

    it's the same happening with me so i emailed the custmor service but nothing said that it's only from us to us calls it's not mentioned but no one was able to use this offer , may there is no offer and this will be illegal to announce something like this without being really ready to do it , we must findout a way to work this up by calling a yahoo representitve

just type in your phone number you want to call, then click the down arrow to the right and it opens a drop down box. then click the number you just yped in and it will dial your number for you, you must have a Mic and headset or speakers though. Worked for me.

Hi, It's not working for me as well and the best part is after it took me to the page where it said sign up for 10$ or 25$. I decided to sign up for 10$ but again it took me to another page for password verification and it wouldnt accept my password at all...so no luck even if I want to pay money and sign up!!

I"m having the same problem. I have the latest Yahoo Messenger and have had it for a while--even downloaded a "fresh" copy , but it still will not work. I have tried several different ways to "call out", and play with trying to get it to work,but to no avail.By the time this "bug" is figured out -- the Holidays will be over. I"m not going to waste any more of my time in this endeaver--it:s a lost cause for me. I shall be using other methods that I know work and already set up. "You All" have a happy New Year Eve, and watch your driving.
