Why does my messenger works backwards?

Why isint my microphone detecting on Yahoo messenger yet it works fine on Skype?

  • Hi, The volume is up even on the messenger option. I tested it on skype and it works fine. When Im calling my brother I can hear him but he cant hear me. What could be wrong. All answers appreciated Thanks

    This is a good question because it lets us know the audio settings on your computer are fine and that the problem is probably right there in messenger itself. Open messenger and click Help, scroll to Set Up Video and Voice and follow the prompts until you have those settings correct. This should do the trick for you. Good luck. ~m~
