What is wrong with my Yahoo Messenger 10?

Logitech SW 10.0.0 and Yahoo Messenger 8.0 don't play well, no audio when camera disconnected?

• I have confirmed this behavior on 4 seperate computers. If Yahoo Messenger 8.0 and Logitech QuickCam for Notebooks Deluxe 10.0.0 software is installed onto a computer, everything works fine as long as the webcam is plugged in when Yahoo Messenger is started. If the camera is not plugged in when Yahoo Messenger is started, voice calls can not be made using Yahoo Messenger Voice. There may be error messages from Yahoo Messenger Voice, or there may just be no audio, it seems to vary. Other audio functions may fail also. Either quitting Yahoo Messenger or rebooting will make the audio start working again. Each of these computers uses a microphone or headset that was seperate from the webcam's microphone. A solution we've found is to drop back to the software that was included in the camera package, QuickCam 8.4.8. Once this version was installed instead of version 10.0.0, the microphone and audio problems with Yahoo Messenger went away. It looks like a SW fix is needed.
