If my phone area code is not listed, How can I sign up for a PC phone number for PC to a hard line phone?

  • I am trying to sign up fot the Yahoo's new phone plan that lets you get a phone number for your PC. This is a new program by Yahoo. People can call this number assigned to your computer and talk to you while you are useing your computer. If you are not signed in they can leave a voice mail or an IM for you. If you know any about this, I would like to hear from you.

    You can pick a number in any area code. However, if you really want a number in your current area code, you'll have to keep checking back and wait until they have new numbers in your area code.

All telephone numbers (with exception to 911, 1411, 0, etc.) have area codes if you cannot locate it, call information(1411) or your operator(0).
