Why cant i install yahoo messenger?

I download the program, click install and nothing happens

Answer:
try google for "yahoo messenger standalone offline installer", and download the installation file in one go (16-17mb) and run installation from that file. if u install normally from yahoo web, it only use the install manager (400kb) which later download the rest of the file in the background. check your permissions and firewall settings as well.
