How do I delete someone from my address book and all contacts?

If I delete someone from my address book, contacts and YIM, can they still see me online and my status updates?

• I already deleted this person but never blocked them so can they still see my upstates and messages that I post? Gawd that would suck b/c some have been about that person! HELP!

  If you can't remember the person's Yahoo ID, then you won't be about to block the person. This is how to do it, if you can remember the ID: Click on "Messenger" in the top left hand corner. Click on "Preferences". Click on "Ignore List". Click on "Ignore only the People Below". Add the person in the white box and click on "Add". Click on "Apply" followed by "OK". You could try temporarily disabling your Status Updates as follows: Click on "Messenger" in the top left hand corner of the Messenger Pane. Click on "Manage Updates I Broadcast". This will take you to your Profile page. (Now called Pulse). UNTICK the box "Share my Updates". Click on "Save" at the bottom of the page. However, sometimes these updates take a couple of days to clear.
