MSN contacts aren't showing up in Yahoo! Messenger?

I'm not too keen on the new Windows Live Messenger so I thought I would download Yahoo! messenger and add my MSN contacts to it. Adding the MSN contacts was the easy part, but now nothing is happening, even when the invitation is accepted. All I can see in my contact list are the e-mail addresses that are offline - I can't send or receive messages either. Is there anyway I can talk to my MSN contacts via my Yahoo! messenger?

Looking at your Messenger, see the downward facing arrowhead between Contacts and Y!Updates? Click there, that's where you can change your view of your contacts. *m*
