How long are messages archived on Yahoo messenger and do they delete automatically once read?
-
Once you read your messages that are achived do they delete automatically or do you have to delete them?
-
Answer:
Message Archiving in Yahoo Messenger is Not Turned on by default and requires you to change your Messenger settings in order to archive at all. If Archiving is turned on The Archived Messages are kept until you intentionally Delete them. If You have not turned on Archiving and your question actually is about Offline messages which show up when you log in, those will be Deleted and no longer available once you close the window they are displayed in just as messaging sessions are also unavailable once they are closed unless you have Message Archiving turned on.
