Webcam don't work with msn...?

i recently bought a laptop with built in webcam but when i try to use it with msn, the 'box' is just grey =/ is there something i need to download for it? im using Messenger Plus! 4.85.386 with windows 7 .. if that helps =/ any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Reconfigure your camera from it's dashboard every time you move from one site to another. It's a 15 - 20 second process and a necessary one.
