Why is my messenger has a white screen?

White screen when using Yahoo messenger.?

• When I am trying to chat in Yahoo messenger, all I get is a blank white screen. We can send messages back and forth and everything else seems fine. The messages just don't appear in the IM window. I am using Yahoo Messenger 10.0.0.1270-us. What can I do to fix this? I have tried uninstalling and re-installing.It doesn't seem to help. I just updated my java but that didn't do anything either.
