Why Does Yahoo Messenger Keep Crashing?

  • Hey People, So I've been having some display driver issues on my Asus Windows 7 64 Bit OS System but I've come to notice that I have it mainly when I use my Yahoo Messenger for video chats and I get a display message saying it's not compatible with my system and then my colour changes to Windows 7 Basic. Is there someway I can fix this? The person I vid chat with can only use Yahoo! so I can't just change programs to skype or anything. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Tyler.

    You know, Tyler, You mention how the other user can only use Yahoo Messenger, well maybe you'll have better luck using Windows Live! Messenger as it's compatible with Yahoo and can connect with Yahoo's Messenger with no problem ast all. Something else you might want to check out: Start>> Control Panel>> Display, click on the Settings Tab and make sure your system is running in sync with these settings. On some computers the default settings are for 32 bit 1024 X 768 pixels whereas you'd have to go to your Media Player>> View>> Enhancements to check out any color changes. I hope this helps. *m*
