Why does Windows Live Messenger close unexpectedly?

How do i close windows live messenger ?

  • I need to uninstall adobe flash player but in order to the adobe uninstall tells me i must close both yahoo messenger and windows live messenger ,,by clicking sign out on yahoo that works but if i sign out from windows live the adobe installer still shows its still on and thus wont proceed with the uninstall please how can i correct this thank you for your help

Depending what OS your running, find the messenger icon on your task bar or the little ^ on the right of your task bar, right click it and exit. Also as above/underneath has said go into task manager. Hope this helps :)

Bottom right-hand side, right click the messenger icon (green and blue people) and select close or exit. If not then control alt delete always does the trick.
