Why wont yahoo messenger work on my phone?

So, i have a Motorola rival and I have it on a $25 plan so that i can subscribe to the Yahoo messenger for unlimited usage. Yesterday when i logged out and tried to log back in it said that I didnt have enough money in my account, so i shut my phone off and tried again and it let me log in. But, today it did the same thing and wont let me log in saying i have no money on my account... though, my texting still works so my accounts working...Im just wondering why its not letting me log into yahoo when i have unlimited usage of it...?
