How do I get my webcam to work for Yahoo?

I have bought 3 Webcams now and none of them work for yahoo messenger. I have found other questions like this and followed the instructions but it doesn't work. When I ask someone to view my cam, it says its unavailable on their side of it. I was thinking, maybe its because I have the newest update but I don't know how to get it off my computer? Any tips? I know everything is installed right because yahoo works fine and my camera works on other websites.
