How do I up-date yahoo messenger?

How to delete an update on Yahoo Messenger?!?

  • Okay, this is kinda embarrassing but I'm desperate so... Was on Yahoo Answers a couple of days ago because I was bored. I was answering questions here and there and I came across a question asking about good songs related to sex. Thought of The Lonely Island so I responded. I unchecked the update box but then I misspelled a word so I went back to edit it and forgot to uncheck the update box! And now, all my contacts on Yahoo Messenger can see the "Answered a question: What are some good songs about sex" update. I deleted my answer, answered a few questions since then and even changed my settings so no updates are shared but THE "ANSWERED A QUESTION" THIS IS STILL THERE!!! It's like yahoo messenger won't let me forget!!!! It's been 3 days I think (although yahoo messenger says I answered the question yesterday...wtf LIE) None of my friends have mentioned it to me yet but I'm worried some of them will think I'm a pervert. This is so embarrassing!!! Can anyone help me? If this issue isn't fixed, I'm deleting my yahoo account. I have Google, MSN and Facebook anyways. This is so annoying! Other people have been having the same problems too but so far, no one's been able to help them.

  • Answer:

I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I am afraid these updates can take up to 5 days to clear once they have been transmitted. But rest assured it will go.
