MSN doesn't 'shut Yahoo down'. I have also had problems with Messenger 8 Beta (was there ever a v7.5 that wasn't Beta? I never saw one. If there is a conflict, it's Yahoo's programmers that need to know about it. It's not MSN's fault. If you want to use MSN and Yahoo from the same interface, try Trillian. http://www.download.com/Trillian/3000-2150-10047473.html

If you're having problems with Messenger crashing when you click buttons or menus, it's probably a WindowBlinds conflict. Set your skin to "Classic" to fix it.
