Why won't Skype and yahoo messenger connect to the Internet?

IE becomes offline automatically once Internet connection is disconnected!! Yahoo and Microsoft Drawback!!!!?

Hi Guys! Is there any solution for IE, as it goes to offline mode automatically once the the Internet connection is disconnected and Yahoo messenger could not connect if IE is in Offline mode. It's basically a drawback in both IE and Yahoo messenger. Though I guess it can be resolved only by Microsoft and Yahoo only, so if any concern person from Yahoo and Micrsoft see my message then please provide solution for the same. Skype is good in this case as it connects automatically once the Internet is available. any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks Muhd Ahmad
