Why can't I delete contacts from my contact list?

I have tired a 100 hours to find out how to delete names on a messanger list?

• ....I cant find a list that says click message menu but that just show because I cant find the real one.....You have contact mail and we can very easily delete them on the front page.....but how in the hell can we find the message list? Just about delete contacts =Put the message list so we can delete that instead of looking and looking hours and hours trying to get those people off that I dont want....HOW DO IT GET THEM OFF???? And you never cared one time to answer ME....Not one time so Im going to try msn and see if they are better than you!!!

  If you had used the Search Y! Answers box for this question, you would have found many answers - it has been asked so often before. There are several versions of Messenger ( Mail, web, download, mobile phone ) but the technique is the same easy one ...right-click and select Delete from the list. Yes, it must be done one Contact at a time, but you are the one who accepted these people as Messenger Contacts in the first place.
