How can I download an old Yahoo Messenger and not lose my archived messages?

I don't like messenger version 10. What are the steps I take to download a good older version and not lose my archived messages?

Answer:
Open the Archieve tab...view messages...and when you click on a persons name...there is a floppy disc located to the very left top corner...click on that and save to computer....prefererably in your documents......simple.
