How do I use a webcam on Yahoo messenger?

How come I can't use my iTouch 4.3 to webcam chat with my friend on Yahoo Messenger?

  • I downloaded the Yahoo! Messenger app on my iTouch 4.3. One of the option is to chat, and another button is for video calling (I guess) but you can't click on it. How come it's not available for use when I have a webcam included in my iTouch? If video calling with Yahoo! Messenger on my iTouch is not possible, can you recommend some other popular and safe instant messaging apps I can download for free on my iTouch that allows me to video chat? Thanks!

    In Messenger, click Messenger on the Tool bar and scroll to Sign into a Mobile Device, during the course of signing up, you're going to see the option, Automatically sign me into my mobile phone whenever I log out of Messenger. Fill in the box and continue with your registration. Once done, Yahoo will send a 4 digit code to your phone acknowledging the set-up and from there, you'll be good to go. If you don't get the code within minutes of sending it, it would only be because Yahoo doesn't do business with your carrier, as is their right.
