My Webcam isnt working ??!?

I just got a Vaio Laptop two weeks ago, its brand new laptop and i have Webcam Companion 3, it wont pick up my webcam at all. Says its not hooked up or working properly. Why wont it pick up the webcam?

Answer:
I had the same problem with mine. try to use the original windows of your Vaio (I mean use vista if you have installed windows XP on it manually) the webcam will be found in this way.
