How do I create a new Yahoo screen name if I already have one?

How can i be signed into two different screen names at one time on yahoo IM?

  • k, my friend is able to be signed onto two screen names at one time... on the same messenger. and she can chose what screen name she wants to use with different people. and she don't know how to set it up cause her boy friend did it for her... and i know i have asked this in a question before... but that persons answer didn't work... because when i have the yahoo messenger up and i click on messenger and then my profiles and edit/create profiles (like the person said to do in my other question) nothing pops up, also when i get e-mail i have to go to www.yahoo.com to get it... it don't work if i click the little icon thing on my yahoo messenger... CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!?!?!?!? thanx

    Well, you can be signed into Yahoo using Mail Beta. You can also be on another ID using Messenger. (You can probably use more than one browser window using different IDs and Mail Beta.) Then there's also Trillian (that you can use to login to more than one IM system).

Go to your account info in your messenger list and in the account info, you can create a second profile for your Yahoo account. You will sign in to both names but will only be able to use one at a time.

I just use the web browser firefox for one screen. and the web browser internet explorer for the other screen.

if ur on the same web browser u wont be able to. Use different ones..
