Is messenger address book supposed to be a reflection of yahoo address book?
-
I recently cleaned up my address book in Outlook. Deleted all the contacts in Yahoo address book and Messenger address book. Then imported my Outlook contacts in Yahoo address book. I now go into Yahoo messenger and find some contacts without the details that they have in Yahoo address book. Also for example one name has about six entries in Messenger address book but there were only two in the original Yahoo address book. Where does Yahoo Messenger get its contacts from? Is another address book (windows?). I use Windows XP Pro

Answer:
Yahoo! Messenger gets most of its contacts from Yahoo! Address Book, but you can add contacts from Outlook too. So, yes, Messenger Address Book is supposed to be a reflection.
