How do i get a picture out of my display images onto my computer?

  • my computer recently crashed and i lost all of my dogs baby pictures. before the crash i had used one of them as a display image for the instant messaging. after i got my computer up and running i found that yahoo had saved that image. i have gone to program files on my computer and searched but i cant seem to find it. so i dont know if it is on my computer or saved in yahoo either way i would like to find a way to get that picture back. it means alot to me.

    hi there my name is seyfi first i can you tell quick way to get any deleted docs back.... there are some programms to help you programm like recover hardisk spaces i think it will take efekt but an other way to get your pic back try to look in the internet files folder in your sistem after you have run your messenger but you must look for it by images previev the filename will be changed...good luck

May I ask how you restored your PC after the crash? If you reformatted your hard disk, that would have deleted all your files, programs and documents. UNLESS, you made a back up file on a removable or separate drive or have a separate drive for your files only or you had a partitioned disk and separated your program files from your data. If you were able to do any 1 of the above, all you have to do is run a search of your HDD using Windows and the filename of your sought after image. However, if none of the above conditions were met, Yahoo may have saved your favorite image online in My Briefcase, My Web or Yahoo Photos. From any of these sources, it is my understanding they are all downloadable. I hope you find it.
